A five-lot subdivision, a curbing company and a home woodworking shop are all seeking Draper Planning Commission approval at public hearings Oct. 22.

All three hearings are open to the public.

The commission will consider a conditional use permit for United Curbing to operate a construction sales and service business at 12541 S. Minuteman Dr., according to a public hearing notice posted by Draper City on Oct. 8. Residents with questions about that request can contact Nick Whittaker at (801) 576-6522.

A second hearing covers a conditional use permit for Master Wood Crafters, a home-based cottage business that makes wood products for online sale, at 12646 S. 700 East. That notice was also posted Oct. 8. Residents can reach planner Maryann DeHaven at (801) 576-6391 for details on that application.

The third item is a development agreement for 12430 S. 700 East that would allow the property to be divided into five lots served by a private roadway, according to a separate hearing notice posted the same day. That request ties back to a zoning map amendment the commission considered July 9. Peter Gamvroulas of Ivory Homes filed the rezone application on behalf of property owner JDAWS Rentals LLC for the 1.67-acre parcel, as we reported in July. Because the rezone is a legislative action, any commission recommendation must go to the Draper City Council for final approval. DeHaven is also the contact for the 700 East development agreement.

No staff reports for the three Oct. 22 items have been published. The full agenda may include additional business beyond these three hearings. City Recorder Nicole Smedley attested all three notices.

All three hearings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Draper City Hall, 1020 E. Pioneer Rd. Residents who want to comment on any of the proposals can attend in person on Oct. 22.
