Tickets are already on sale for Draper's Haunted Trail, which sold out all three nights last year. That event headlines a fall calendar the city's Community Engagement and Events Committee will review at its Wednesday, Aug. 26 meeting, alongside the International Arts & Crafts Festival on Sept. 12 and World Kindness Day on Nov. 13.

The committee meets at 6 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at 1020 E. Pioneer Rd. Members will also debrief summer events including Draper Days, the Rodeo, the Horse Pull and Monster Trucks before turning to fall planning, according to the meeting agenda.

Haunted Trail: Oct. 15-17

The family-friendly scare hike returns to Andy Ballard Arena & Equestrian Center, 1600 E. Highland Dr., running Thursday through Thursday, Oct. 15-17, from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night.

Tickets are $4.25 per person and must be purchased online in advance at drapercity.activityreg.com. No tickets are sold on-site. Every attendee needs a ticket, and adults may attend only when accompanying a child age 15 or younger.

The trail stretches about one-third of a mile along a wooded path, roughly two-thirds dirt and one-third paved, with uneven terrain, hills and varying grades. Strollers and pets are not allowed, and closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. The event may be canceled due to severe storms or lightning; residents can check draperutah.gov or call (801) 576-6584 for updates.

All three nights sold out in 2025, according to Draper City's official social media accounts.

International Arts & Crafts Festival: Sept. 12

The festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12. Vendor applications are open, but the city requires all vendors to sell handmade goods. Anyone selling products affiliated with multi-level marketing companies will be turned away, according to the city's event page.

Additional details on the festival's location, hours and admission have not yet been posted.

World Kindness Day: Nov. 13

World Kindness Day lands on Friday, Nov. 13. The committee agenda notes that a sub-committee will be formed to plan the event, along with Random Acts of Kindness Week set for Feb. 14-20, 2027. No further details on activities or locations are available yet.
