Five Draper companies earned spots on the 2026 Inc. 5000, the annual ranking of America's fastest-growing private companies, with two cracking the national top 300.
Flashlight Learning, an education technology firm that builds language-assessment tools for multilingual learners, led the local pack at No. 176 with 1,906% three-year revenue growth. Nutrastrips, a manufacturer of oral dissolving supplement strips at 12411 S. 265 W., Suite C, followed at No. 273 with 1,241% growth. Both reported revenue in the $5 million to $10 million range, according to Utah Business, which published the full Utah breakdown Aug. 11.
The Inc. 5000 ranks companies by percentage revenue growth over three years.
Rounding out Draper's showing: marketing firm Baton at No. 500 (691% growth, $5 million–$10 million revenue), Detroit-style pizza chain Via 313 Pizzeria at No. 3,188 (94% growth, $25 million–$50 million revenue) and digital marketing agency Max Connect Digital at No. 4,427 (44% growth, $25 million–$50 million revenue).
The five companies span four industries: education, manufacturing, advertising and marketing, and food and beverage.
Nutrastrips: three expansions in two years
Founded in 2018, Nutrastrips began manufacturing dissolvable supplement strips in 2020 and has expanded its Draper facility three times in the past 24 months, according to the company's LinkedIn page. The NSF-certified plant produces more than 250 million strips annually for over 500 brand partners using proprietary FlashRelease technology.
That growth is accelerating. The company, which employs between 11 and 50 people, ranked No. 22 in the Rocky Mountain Region on Inc.'s regional list in June. In a LinkedIn post that month, Nutrastrips said it expects oral dissolving strips to become mainstream in 2026 as demand continues to outpace capacity.
James Clawson, a Nutrastrips team member, wrote on LinkedIn in July that the company's growth philosophy centers on treating every client the same regardless of size. "Whether we're working with an established national brand or someone launching their very first product, the expectation internally is the same: show up as a partner, not just a vendor," Clawson wrote.
Statewide context
Utah placed 96 companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000, up from 87 in 2025. Sixteen of those landed in the national top 500, including Draper's Flashlight Learning and Nutrastrips. Highland-based Pip Pop led the state at No. 68 with 3,976% growth.
Flashlight Learning develops tools that help educators assess and track multilingual students' language progress. Via 313 Pizzeria, founded by Detroit natives, operates Utah locations in Draper, Murray and Provo along with restaurants in Texas and Colorado.
