Draper-area adults 60 and older can attend a free class on nutrition, strength and fall prevention on Friday, Aug. 21, at the Kearns Senior Center in Kearns.
The session, called "Stepping Up Your Nutrition," runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 4851 Lacoy Dr. It covers the connection between nutrition and preventing falls. According to the program listing, it is a standalone class, not part of the separate seven-week "Stepping On" fall prevention series that continues Thursdays through Sept. 17.
Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services organizes the session and serves seniors countywide, including Draper. Admission is free for anyone 60 or older.
